Saturday stuff

I didn't mind not doing anything yesterday since I've had a very busy couple of weeks and have another one coming. Also in the next week or so, I need to send out a bunch of cards. I have a friend having surgery, a friend who is engaged, one who is traveling, others having birthdays and having babies. So, I want them all to know I'm thinking about them so I whipped up some quick cards to send off to them tomorrow.

I've made a lot of baby blankets and have a ton of patterns floating around in my head. Just when I think I have found THE one, I get a little bored with it. Pattern books are expensive though and you almost never use all of them. In fact, I love to look at them and attempt them, but really only ever master one of them and end up memorizing it, so I don't need the book anymore anyway. Well, yesterday, I was at a craft store and was paging through a pattern book that I thought I really wanted. Instead, I just read and reread the above pattern and came home and made it. That's how simple the pattern was! But, I still feel like I stole. At least I put it to good use?
