Ribbon is back

The first photo is of a woven ribbon zippered pouch. I just might use that since I never carry a purse even though I've made hundreds over the years. It's perfect for Spring, we'll see. Once I get started with ribbon, it's a little hard to stop. So, even though I was supposed to be doing something else entirely, I kept sewing and made this little bag that currently has my brown wallet in it. Just making sure it fit! The closure is an old Ann Taylor scarf that someone gave me. I've been really lucky with that lately. A coworker just brought me a whole box of antique buttons and other goodies. There's a wooden crochet hook in there that I'm dying to use.

Speaking of crochet, I've been working on this; doing a few rows at night. It seems to be a much brighter green than it looks like in this photo though, but I guess you can get an idea here.
