My niece told me the other day she wants American Girl doll clothes for her birthday (in September). I started looking for patterns and was so excited to find these online. I tweaked this one and gathered the skirt instead of pleating it. I wanted to see how hard these clothes were to make before I bought a pattern. I may not need to buy any now though! I do need some tops because I have more skirt patterns and pants patterns, but no tops, other than the top to this dress, so may end up buying one. So far, I just used fabrics I had on-hand because I couldn't get out today, but these were good practice. Now, if only I had a doll to try them on! (I hope they fit!)
