Plum mittens

I finally found the magic yarn!  The multicolored (rainbow-ish) mittens are made from this same brand, this is obviously just a different color.  It's called "heather" on the label but I don't think it has a heathered look to it.  I also made cream mittens but didn't photograph them and gave them away last night when we had dinner with friends.  I am glad to say she loved them and put them on when we came out of the restaurant since it was freezing!  Nice when you see your things immediately wear tested.
