My mittens

I really think I'm keeping these.
I am suddenly having a sizing crisis with my mittens. I realized I may have accidentally changed hooks and that may have something to do with it. But, last night, I was using the larger hook and the mittens I made may be too large in the finger area. Of course, I am further confused because I am not sure if it's the yarn or the hook since it's thicker yarn. I need to accept it's the beauty of handmade things--no two things will ever be exactly alike!
