I made this purple blanket for my bedroom. It's not as big as I thought it would be so am a little disappointed by that, but ultimately, I'm excited I made it pretty fast and used it last night. Hopefully, between the two views, you can get a feel for what it looks like. Below is the green blanket remake. I tore out the first one that I crocheted because I'm a maniac, I guess. I decided to start knitting it instead, but I'm the world's SLOWEST knitter! So, I think I've completed 3 crocheted blankets in the time it has taken to get this far knitting. Of course, I like the knitted one best, but practice is not making perfect.... or making me faster.
In other crafting news, my sewing machine, an '09 Christmas gift, went back in the shop today. Needless to say, I am not happy. Here it is, the weekend, the only time I have to get crafty things done, and I have no sewing machine. It would be a great time to clean out the closet in my craft room, but what fun would that be?
