A Handmade Christmas

I'm really thinking about going for it. Well, not completely, because it just doesn't suit everyone, but I am going to try to give almost everyone a handmade gift or at least one handmade something. For starters, here's one blanket that I got yarn for the other day when I was not working because I was getting X-rays.....within about 8 miles of JoAnn's, so I kind of had to go there too. I'm slighted disappointed that the variegated yarn doesn't show up more, but the roommate did comment (because it's been sitting on the couch where I work on it periodically), I meant to tell you, that green blanket is really nice.", while we were in the car yesterday. The important thing is, the textures of the three yarns are making for a very soft and warm combo! I also got a khaki/black combo for my mother-in-law who has a teeny khaki/black checked couch.

What I should do is make a couple of more of those robes! I love that robe...still!
