One of a kinds

Basically, everything I make is a one of a kind. That's why, if I can say so myself, I think it's pretty special "stuff". I don't use patterns very often to ensure this. Even when I try, I can't usually recreate something exactly as I have done it before. I did make a blanket with this blue yarn, but this one is striped and wider than the plain blue. I rarely work in stripes because the transitioning is hard to make look really smooth. This yarn is so fluffy that it's easy to hide where the color changes. But, as shown in the second photo, I'm out of blue yarn. WAH WAH!

I'm trying really hard to make some little boy hats. I'm also trying to work on the sizing. It's hard because I don't and never have had a head on which I can test these. I've been using 2 skeins of yarn crocheted together to make them bigger. Of course, this first one, I didn't. It's just solo brown and really soft. The second one is really soft too--it's gray and cream. The cream yarn is wool, so it's a warm one. Once I finished the blue and gray one, I realized that it's a perfect hat for this area: Detroit Lions! The next one, charcoal and cream is really warm--thick yarns and tightly crocheted. Then, that multicolored one is just super soft, one skein, and stretchy.

And now, I'm off to make more. There's a shop that wants them and I feel like I need to make a cohesive group of them--I fear these look too random and like I was using up yarn, which is what I was doing:) But, that does keep them unique.
