I'm kind of into this
wristlet thing. I've never found good animal print fabric before that isn't either fake fur or a calico or quilt fabric. Finally, a bottom weight animal print:

Not sure what it was about the pears, but I just really liked them. I had some ribbon that matched the pear stems and I thought it made a nice accent.

This photo did not come out, but the accent on this one is a bike. It's sort of a long story, but it's now the birthday present that I thought I made the other day. The back is the same cherry fabric that is the front and back of the final
wristlet of the day. I found a minor imperfection on the black, flowered, pink
ric rac wristlet so it will probably now be mine as the pink 70's flower one is being sent off! I got an email before I used it that someone wanted it. I learned from a boss a long time ago that everything is for sale. That's not necessarily true for much of what I have, but when it comes to things I make, if someone really likes something I've made, I want them to enjoy it. It's part of the fun of making things, who will like it, what they'll do with it. So, even though I love everything I make , I try not to get too attached.

Finally, this is it. I had originally made this one for the birthday gift, but my live-in critic just didn't think the bike worked on this one. I still wanted to use the cherries though, so made the above a little different (cherries only on one side) in order to showcase the bike, the reason I have this friend.
Where on earth do you find the time for all of your creations?!!
