Not bad for a Monday

So, the blanket in the last post was bought by a friend. She also has a baby shower coming up for a new mom who is having a girl and chose brown and pink as her colors. A perfect match! As I was packing it up today, I realized I had a scrap of pink fabric and enough ribbon strips to make something for her sweet daughter-a doll blanket! The back of this one is brown suede-ish material. I hope it's the right size for an American Girl doll. Either way, I know she'll have fun with it. A knitted scarf that is warm, but great as a fashion accent.Super toast from this one!!Finally, friends had a baby last night. A new baby boy named Kellan Lee. Hmmm.....I know that name! I'm pretty lame when it comes to the reality TV so I know that this is a name from Laguna Beach. Ugh, that show was the best, I miss it. Then, another piece to the puzzle: they got engaged in Laguna Beach! So, a fitting gift for their new little treasure....

And, on the back.......because I'm sure he is!! The dad is sticking to his story that he's named after this football star.
