My cousin in pregnant!! She's not due until March, but I'm of course already thinking of baby projects. My friend in Australia recently made a rag quilt and has given me the inspiration that I could to. I think she just kind of saw it and did it. I've seen them, admired them, but haven't had a push to give it a go until I saw Marianne do it. This one is not for my cousin, but it's the practice round. I made it with flannel knowing it's fray ability. I also made larger squares to keep the project quick. It's finished (post washing) measurements are 27" X 33".
So, here it is, the top, layed out and assembled:

Step 3: Wash on heavy and dry......
Here's the back.
It's up for grabs, so if you have a little one that would like to cuddle with it, please let me know! You have to promise to wash it on heavy again to get it a little more frayed and raggy looking and even more cozy. It does not have batting for warmth, but it is a comfy little blanky for car rides, Saturday morning cartoons, or whatever.

I want to learn how to do a t-shirt quilt for all of my beloved husband to be's old outgrown (- both size and taste wise!)concert and nostalgia t-shirts! Rather than them taking up precious closet space or sitting idle in storage due to his adored his pak-ratti-ness! ! Ill let ya know ----ever thought of giving crash courses? hmmmm Professor Megan...?
