If I could be Spring for a day....

I have to explain....one of my favorite movies of all time is Freaky Friday (cool, today just happens to be Friday). I like the old one with Jodie Foster from the late 70's. It has this really cheesy opening song, "If I could be you for a day....." playing as it flashes from Annabelle, played by Jodie Foster, to her mom, Mrs. Andrews, played by Barbara Harris. This might have been the start of the split screen that has caused others trouble (Rosie and Elisabeth) because suddenly Annabelle and her mom are on either side of a split screen saying, "if I could trade places with her for just one day...." when BAM! they switch! Mrs. Andrews is surprised by her mouth of metal and what she's eating at the diner, and Annabelle starts to realize that she's wearing a dress (!) and sees her legs, her feet in heels, and feels her belly all the while saying, "I've got mom's...." this and that (she fills in the blanks with the afore mentioned). If you haven't seen it, you should. There's a new one that I haven't seen because I know Jodie and Barbara did it best.

So, if I could be Spring for a day, this is what I'd be!

Especially since it has a vintage button that my Grandmother gave me from a collection that was my Great-Grandmother's. I've been wanting to use one so badly on something so when this one matched perfectly but was a little small, I mounted it on a crocheted flower.
